Class continues fortnightly from 12th January and involves technique, improvisation and composition. Viv Bridson is the teacher. Now 87, her experience covers most of the pioneers of this genre.Starting with Laban at the Art of Movement Studio, studying then dancing and teaching. Next it was Hull University's new Drama Department, teaching and forming a Dance Company .Later, Graham and The Place as Assistant and Rehearsal Director for Jane Dudley. 1986 Viv went to Germany as Rehearsal Director for Reinhild Hoffmann.s Tanztheater 1990 she transferred to the Folkwang Schule,(now Folkwang Uni) the feeder school for Pina Bausch. Among other teachers that she has worked with were Mary Wigman, Hanya Holm, Lucas Hoving Jose Limon Jean Cebron and Lutz Forster.
