Job Description

The Jerwood Choreographic Research Project (JCRP) is an initiative by FABRIC and Jerwood Foundation to promote new choreographic research by expanding knowledge and practical approaches to making dance in the UK and beyond.

It aims to shape, innovate and advance the future of dance by supporting the development of ideas, ways of working and forms yet to be discovered.

We are seeking proposals from artists who work in dance and want to investigate new ideas, knowledge, forms, techniques and approaches to dance or choreography. This is an opportunity for trial and error, a chance to go into the unknown, experiment and learn. There is no expectation to produce a piece of work. JCRP projects should feed the applicant’s artistic approach, developing ideas that may result in the creation of new works in the future.
