Dance In The North Network: Apply for Dance In the North Co-Commission 2026-27 | £12,500 commission

Dance in the North is a consortium of organisations and venues committed to dance artist development in the North of England.

This new co-commission will support the development of a new dance performance including public work-in-progress showings at scratch nights throughout 2026-27.

The co-commission is open to dance artists who live and work in the North of England.

Selected artists will benefit from:
- £12,500 commissioning fee
- Scratch Night performance opportunities in Manchester, Newcastle & Leeds
- Residencies
- Technical residency space
- Advice and support on access, inclusion, sustainability and tour booking
- Mentoring & dramaturgy
- Fundraising & producing support

The co-commission fee is supported by Yorkshire Dance, Cheshire Dance, Lancaster Arts, Dance City, Lowry with in kind support from the wider partnership.
