Camden Youth Dance Festival 2025
About Camden Youth Dance Festival 2025
Camden Youth Dance Festival is an annual celebration of dance by young people across Camden aged 11-18 years.
Young people from schools and community groups in our local borough will showcase their talent on our professional stage.
Performing for an audience of family and friends on a professional stage is a wonderful opportunity for young people to share the passion and enthusiasm that they have gained through participating in dance.
The festival is supported by the Jackie Charlton Fund via Camden Sports Council. Thanks to this generous donation we will be nominating one group to perform at a Celebration Event hosted by the Camden Council Sport & Physical Activity Team in July 2025. The group will be chosen by a panel of our Youth Focus Group, and selection is based on effort, attitude, musicality, choreographic intent, and movement content.
The Camden groups performing this year are from:
- Parliament Hill School
- William Ellis School
- Acland Burghley School
- Hampstead School
- Icandance
- Steppaz
- Shuffle, the Place's resident youth dance company.
- And with guest youth company, Impact Dance.
Tickets: £4, £6 or £8 (pay what you can)
Tickets are only available through The Place box office.
Due to the popularity of this event, we ask that you only buy up to four tickets per booking to ensure that all parents and carers get to see their young people performing. If you have a baby with you, they will also need a seat to be booked for them. Last year, tickets sold very quickly so don’t miss out!
PLEASE NOTE: No filming or photography is allowed during the performance. We also ask that you stay for the duration of the whole show to ensure all groups have the audience they deserve.
