About Camden Youth Dance Festival

Camden Youth Dance Festival 2024

Camden Youth Dance Festival is a celebration of dance by young people across the borough aged 11-17 years.

Performing for an audience of family and friends on a professional stage is a wonderful opportunity for young people who share a passion and enthusiasm for dance.

The festival is supported by the Jackie Charlton Fund via Camden Sports Council. Thanks to this generous donation we will be nominating one school group to perform at a Celebration Event hosted by the Camden Council Sport & Physical Activity Team in July 2024. The group will be chosen by a panel of our Youth Focus Group, and selection is based on effort, attitude, musicality, choreographic intent, and movement content.

With performances from: Acland Burghley School, Hampstead School, Parliament Hill School, Swiss Cottage School, Regent High School, Remix Dance, William Ellis School, Uche-Kaine duo and Shuffle, our resident junior youth dance company.

Tickets are only available through The Place box office only.

Due to the popularity of this event, we ask that you only buy up to four tickets per booking to ensure that all parents and carers get to see their children performing. If you have a baby with you, they will also need a seat to be booked for them. Last year, tickets sold very quickly so don’t miss out!
