About Brice and Giada, Kanah Flex and Serena Thomas

(H)Om coming

How is it possible to feel so familiar with a music that we never heard before?

Rooted in the traditions of southern Italy, particularly the pizzica salentina, but reimagined through a contemporary lens, this performance weaves together rhythmic patterns, hypnotic tambourine sounds, and experimental music to create a space where past and present collide.

This is not a simple tribute to folklore—it is a visceral journey, where music and movement become a conduit for transcendence, and where the body enters a state of ecstatic, meditative flow resonating with the raw, primal force that connects us all.

Felicity

Inspired by the choreographer’s experiences working as a model for the past three years, Felicity delves into ideas of complicity and power within the fashion industry, using the semi-autobiographical character of the same name as a vessel for this exploration. Felicity begins to question her place as a model and the consequences of her work, as everything she once knew begins to unravel itself before her.

About Serena Thomas

Having graduated for London Contemporary Dance School in July, Serena Thomas has spent the last 3 years combining both dance and modelling to create works that explore the overarching theme of innocence/loss of innocence told through controversial aspects of the female experience. Her pieces use a fusion of Contemporary, Ballet and Hip-hop practices to create movement that centers around a feeling of restriction. She also combines her knowledge of fashion to create her own costumes and sets that have a maximalist and inviting quality to them.
