About Aisha Naamani, Annie Kelleher and Gabrielle & Luke
No Idea What I’m Doing
From a fraught relationship with an enticing chair, to an impromptu birthday party with a nostalgic edge, No Idea What I’m Doing is an ode to the dawning realities of adulthood that emerge in our late 20s and the frisson that comes along with it. Characterised through a dynamic and coalescent solo, the movement spans from vigorous floor work to tap dancing, the atmosphere carved through spoken word, Electronic Music, and a Welsh Choral Hymn. The piece encapsulates the ambivalence of pretending that we know what we are doing, all while having absolutely no idea what is going on.

Where we are now
Where we are now is a dance theatre duet exploring how the climate emergency is affecting our bodies now and how that may affect our relationships in the future.
Annie’s work leans into the absurd as a means to portray deep human emotions in their full complexities of expression.
This performance is an episode of a larger project. It is futuristic yet familiar, using the vigour of dance with the sensitivity of theatre to tell a story like pieces of a collage.
About Annie Kelleher
Since training at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Annie has worked as a performer with Excessive Human Collective, Anatomical Creations and aKa Dance Theatre to name a few. She’s been freelancing since 2021 as a dancer, teacher and choreographer, successfully receiving ACE fundings with producer Callum Holt.
She often follows a narrative arch to reflect the complexities and absurdity of modern life; particularly looking at how she may address social/political/ecological issues. Her movement language is visceral and expressive using acting practices to develop dance from the inside out. She enjoys juxtaposing spectacle with minimalism to create rich worlds for the audience to delve into on stage.

Not Even a Pin Drop
Not Even a Pin Drop is a narrative work based on Gabrielle’s experience of sudden deafness in one ear. The piece aims to translate the mixture of feelings and emotions that were faced during this time, among them: fear, hope, isolation, gratitude and disorientation. Through the use of classical music and playing with the sound in the space (or the lack thereof) the audience has the opportunity to be transported through each moment of the experience. Not Even a Pin Drop will offer an insight into the confusion that a disruption of one of the senses can cause.
About Gabrielle & Luke
Gabrielle & Luke are individual dance artists who are creating their first work together for Resolution Festival 2025. Both have worked in the UK and internationally; Gabrielle has danced with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures and Luke has created work for Anystage Creative, NOW TV and Sky TV. Their collaboration was born out of a shared love for neo-classical movement and a desire to create work in this style, emphasising its continued relevance. They are looking forward to presenting their first collaborative work at Resolution.
