Her Majesty The Queen, 1926 – 2022
News Story

Along with the rest of the nation, we mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On behalf of The Place, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family who are dealing with the loss of a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
As we reflect on her life-long dedication to public service through 70 years of national transformation many times over with humility and dignity, we are reminded of the values that have upheld our nation. We are forever grateful for her longstanding support for charities and the arts and culture.
A few months ago, Janice Ho, Singaporean London Contemporary Dance School student, had the honour of dancing as Her Majesty the Queen in the Jubilee pageant. We will cherish this memory as a symbol of the cross-generational and world-wide influence Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has had and will continue to have on our lives and in our hearts.
