The Place are delighted to welcome Temporary Collective as part of our international residency programme. The team will be located in the cafe at The Place from 12:30 - 3:00pm on Tuesday 8 September.

Artists Tereza and Petra invite you into the Temporary Corner – an open space for encounters and dialogue, shaped by your stories and your movements through this building.
Part of the ongoing project GEO LOCAL, emerging from their stage piece GEO, the Corner explores how bodies remember space – and how space remembers us.

Who are we?
Temporary Collective is a performance-making group founded by dancer Tereza Ondrová and theatre director Petra Tejnorová. As a duo, we bring together a team of creatives from various disciplines to create performances and public encounters.
Our artistic process is grounded in dialogue and shaped in response to what challenges us.
Recent themes in our work include sustainability, loss, and geographical storytelling – while also embracing the humorous and heartfelt.
We are temporary because we do not hold fixed beliefs. We welcome change, and we practice reinvention and relationship-building with the unknown.
