London Contemporary Dance Scdhool was the first UK dance conservatoire to offer a university-validated degree for professional dancers in 1982, a model which led the way for many other dance schools in the UK and abroad, and the first to offer a Masters in Screendance in the world, imagined in 2018. Our rich history of taking risks and pushing boundaries means our alumni go on to be world leading pioneers of dance.

LCDS are proud of the successes achieved by our alumni. Many make significant and ongoing impact, not just as performers but as industry leaders, choreographers, producers, and leading educators.
