Siyi Liu

Chinese dancer and movement artist Siyi Liu, a graduate of the MA Dance: Performance programme at London Contemporary Dance School, brings over 10 years of professional performance and choreography experience. She has developed a distinctive movement vocabulary and unique artistic language that transcends conventional boundaries, with an outstanding track record across diverse contexts - from theatre stages and international arts festivals to gallery spaces, television commercials and dance film productions. Her innovative practice integrates fashion aesthetics, advertising language, cross-disciplinary music, media arts, and ethnic cultural heritage. As a versatile artist, Siyi demonstrates technical mastery, refined artistic sensibility, and creative adaptability, consistently delivering compelling performances that resonate across both artistic and commercial realms.
Siyi is a graduate of the MA Dance: Performance programme at LCDS, where she was a member of Cohort 02. During the programme she worked with project leaders such as Dickson Mbi Company, Alexander Whitley Dance Company, Theo Clinkard, Steve Kirkham, Holly Blakey, Hannes Langolf, Seke Chimutengwende, Benjamin Jonsson, Rakesh Sukesh and Alleyne Dance under the course leadership of Tom English, Tina Afiyan Breiova and Dr Andrew Sanger, working closely with individual mentor Emma Farnell-Watson.
