Nadia Malaya (she/her) is an international contemporary dancer, movement researcher, and actress from Russia, now based in London.

Her work fuses physical theatre, dramatic acting, and voice work with dance styles from krump and vogue to contemporary dance and IDO disco. In training and performing, she values rigor, versatility, and emotional sincerity.

A graduate of The New School (NYC) with a BA in Cognitive Science and alumna of MADP (mentored by Sade Alleyne), Nadia created Neurokinetics, a training method uniting neuroscience and performance artistry for sensory intelligence training.

She has performed internationally in commissions by Antonin Rioche, Sebastian Zuber, Michal Zadara, and danced with ETO Dance Company in Moscow.

She also co-leads Instinct of Movement, a Slavic community for movement research.

It’s been her great joy to have been part of MADP Cohort 2, and she’s beyond excited for what happens next.

Nadia is a graduate of the MA Dance: Performance programme at LCDS, where she was a member of Cohort 02. During the programme she worked with project leaders such as Dickson Mbi Company, Alexander Whitley Dance Company, Theo Clinkard, Steve Kirkham, Holly Blakey, Hannes Langolf, Seke Chimutengwende, Benjamin Jonsson, Rakesh Sukesh and Alleyne Dance under the course leadership of Tom English, Tina Afiyan Breiova and Dr Andrew Sanger, working closely with individual mentor Sadé Alleyne.
