Kalea Escobosa (she/her) specializes in contemporary dance and is originally from Orange County, California, but currently is based in London. Driven by her desire to explore artistic and emotional development in athletes, she pursued dance and anthropology at UCLA. Kalea’s studies enriched her knowledge of minds and bodies through physical, psychological, and behavioral tools, influencing her eagerness to support those who lack confidence, individual identity, and performance skills in sports and art. Kalea is particularly interested in sports and dance psychology, where she continuously research methods for stress-reduction, emotional management, and performance stability. With ten years of competitive dancing experience, she possesses invaluable real-world experience, fueling her interest to learn, apply and create change while inspiring others. Kalea is eager to deepen my understanding of and provide guidance for the different mental and physical challenges experienced by professional artists and athletes; thus, she strives to grow as an individual continuously and yearns to have a tangible impact.

Kalea is a graduate of the MA Dance: Performance programme at LCDS, where she was a member of Cohort 02.
