Cynthia is a choreographer and dancer based in both London and Hong Kong. Her dance journey began with Chestroll Dance Crew in Hong Kong, followed by professional training at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York and later at the London Contemporary Dance School.

As a performer, she has graced stages such as Battersea Arts Centre, Southbank Centre, and the Royal Albert Hall. Most recently, she performed a work by choreographer SungIm Her, directed by Natalia Korczakowska, for an informal showing, premiered this September at STUDIO theatergallery in Warsaw. Beyond performance, Cynthia has presented her choreographic work at esteemed venues including the British Museum, Olympia London, and West Kowloon Art Park in Hong Kong. Most recently, she was awarded 1st Runner-Up at the IVDC in Hong Kong for her powerful piece Inferno’s Rise. She is also currently working in the commercial scene, assisting in concert and theatre works.

Cynthia is a graduate of the MA Dance: Performance programme at LCDS, where she was a member of Cohort 02. During the programme she worked with project leaders such as Dickson Mbi Company, Alexander Whitley Dance Company, Theo Clinkard, Steve Kirkham, Holly Blakey, Hannes Langolf, Seke Chimutengwende, Benjamin Jonsson, Rakesh Sukesh and Alleyne Dance under the course leadership of Tom English, Tina Afiyan Breiova and Dr Andrew Sanger, working closely with individual mentor Yeji Kim.
