Status: We are a project-based company, rate of pay will be determined based on project budget. All rehearsals for Junior & Senior Company are paid an hourly rate, and performance days will be paid a flat day rate. Travel compensation available.

Job Description

Pointe Black is an award-winning Black ballet organisation based in London, redefining the traditional ballet world through culturally-informed training and performance.

We are auditioning dancers of black heritage for our 2026 season on Sunday, 12th April, 2026. We offer a structured pathway from pre-vocational training to professional performance opportunities. Our work centers both technical excellence and cultural identity, creating spaces where dancers can develop at a high level whilst feeling seen, supported, and challenged.

ROLES / PROGRAMMES
Academy (8–16): Pre-vocational training to develop technique and artistry (Training ONLY)
Junior Company (11–18): Pre-professional training with performance opportunities
Senior Company (18+): Professional performance company for emerging artists
