Gorilla Circus Residency Opportunity

Gorilla Circus seeks circus makers, performers, dance companies and individual artists who will take advantage of our beautiful outdoor space in Gorefield, Fenland.

Set in the beautiful landscape of Fenland, Gorilla Circus Residencies offer a unique opportunity to focus on creation in a rural setting. Taking part in a residency here gives you time to disconnect from the outside world and focus on creation.

This is a chance to explore and play in a natural setting, no matter what stage of development your work is in. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Is This Residency Right For You?

We welcome circus makers, performers, dance companies, individual artists, and those who work in outdoor arts to use the space from 3 -7 days, with an opportunity for a public sharing and feedback.

If you are thinking about applying, please consider the following:

Residency space is fully outdoors on remote farmland with no public transport access
On site facilities include composting toilet, welfare cabin/indoor warm up area with tea/coffee and microwave facilities
Indoor space at local halls can be arranged on request

The site in Fenland is wonderfully remote with no public transport access. Ideally, there will be one member of your team who can drive to/from accommodation. Live-in vehicles are welcome on site.

Please note, if you or your group are not comfortable working outdoors, this may not be the residency for you.
